GOLDSMITH Sheila Ann (Oglesby) Pate, age 54, of Goldsmith, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. She was born in Littlefield, TX on January 11, 1958 to Elizabeth Ann (Wall) Robertson and the late Earnest Monroe Oglesby. She worked as a cook and dishwasher at Vickie's Mini Mart. Sheila was a fun loving person who loved life and could be a real firecracker. She had a strong sense of right and wrong and was a hard worker. Although independent and stubborn, she had a big heart and had a deep love for her family. Her pets, Bear and Kit, were her babies. Those left to cherish her love and memory are her mother and dad: Beth and Jim Robertson of Goldsmith; daughter: Tina Harrell Ellis and husband Keith Ellis of Odessa; son: James Harrell and wife Sandy of Alice, TX; three sA isters: Gay Kennedy and husband Michael of Goldsmith, Debra Jan Turner and husband Tom of Michigan, and Tanya Yvette Read and husband Terry of Missouri; two brothers: Monty Ray Oglesby and wife Lynn of Goldsmith, and Terry Gene Oglesby and his significant other Dana Fisher of Odessa; and six grandchildren: Kristofer, R.J. (Robert), David, Daniel, Meagan, and Alayna. In addition to her father, Shelia's husband: David Lee; daughter: Christy Lee; and grandmother: Ivy Wall, precede her in death. A Celebration of Life will be 6:00 pm Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Goldsmith Community Center, officiated by Brother Terry Wright. She will be laid to rest with her daughter, Christy Lee, at Sunset Memorial Gardens at a later date.
