    3. On Monday, October 8, 2012, God dispatched a Heavenly angel to the home of Karl Nathan (Nay) Paige, telling him that he had come to answer his prayer to give his soul peace. He was born in Bent Mountain, Va., on September 14, 1950, to the late King and Lenora Page. Karl received his education at George Washington Carver School, Salem, Va. He was formerly employed by Salem Parks and Recreation Department and Sam's Club. Karl accepted Christ at an early age and attended Positive Impact Ministries. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Sherman, William (Willie), and Thomas (Snookie) Page; sister-in-law, Edith Page; and brother-in-law, George Pate. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathy Paige; son, Tony (Nicole) Paige; daughter, Latonya (Thornton) White; stepson, Anthony (Dee) Lark; five grandchildren, Emani, Ny'Ja and Gabrielle Paige, Asja and Thornton White III; one great- grandchild, Toni Paige, all of Georgia; former wife, Rosa Paige, of Roanoke, Va.; three brothers, Len Page, of Altadena, Calif., Wayne (Carolyn) Page, of Roanoke, Va., and Glenn Page, of Richmond, Va.; five sisters, Mary Webb, Geneva Pate, Alice Reed, Sallie Paige, and Nancy (Wayne) Brown, all of Roanoke, Va.; three aunts, Fannie Webb, of Bent Mountain, Va., Moe Paige, of Newark, N.J., and Ruth Brewer, of Roanoke, Va.; a host of nieces and nephews; special nieces, Luecreasia Paige and Janet Beckner; special nephews, Charles Page, Thomas (T.J.) Paige, Calvin Paige and Darryl Manns, all of Roanoke, Va.; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Carilion Clinic Hospice and a special thanks to Alan Mabry and Clara Crowder. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2012, in the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with the Rev. Robert W. Shepherd officiating and the Apostle Samuel R. English, Eulogist. Interment will be held in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2012, at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
