VALDOSTA, Ga. - Francis Adell Adcock Moore, 75, died Oct. 5, 2012, at Lakehaven Nursing Home in Valdosta. Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Valdosta. Visitation is today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. She was a member of the Seasons Church in Valdosta. Ms. Moore was born Feb. 28, 1937, in Yazoo City, to the late Malcom George Adcock and Maude Adcock Carley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brookshier C. Moore; daughter, Jackie Elise Adair; sister, Barbara McGinty; and brother, Malcom Adcock. She is survived by her son, Pierce Desmond of Meridian; daughters, Darlene V. Kirk and Nancy Karen Beaugh, both of Columbus, and Jo A. Pate of Valdosta; sister, Lucy McCaslin of Austin, Texas; brothers, Billy Adcock of Gautier, and Jerald Adcock of Baltimore, Md.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
