Does anyone have any additional information on Pleasant L Pate.   He married on 9 Nov 1858 in Union Co, AR to Elizabeth Adams.  The marriage record indicates he was residing in Louisiana and she was residing in Union County, AR.  They were married at her father's home (don't know who her father was)   Pleasant served in the civil war in the 25th LA Infantry and died on 13 Dec 1862 at Winchester, TN.   I have not found him in any census and have nothing else on his wife.   Of note there is a Pleas Henry Pate b.1902, AR.  He is the grandson of Rufus Ware Pate, who was in Union Co, AR in the 1870 census.   Dan Franklin
