PATE, LAURENCE H. "Larry"; of Bloomfield Hills; died October 6, 2012; age 87. He is survived by his wife, Joan (Jo); children, Steven (Teresa Wojciechowski), Michael (Marcia Heronemus), and Judi (Carlos Rodriguez); grandsons, James (Meagan Anderson), and Andrew; and sister, Mary E. Keiser. He served in the U.S. AAF from March 1943 through February 1946. He graduated from Michigan State College in 1950 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was President of Pate, Hirn and Bogue, Consulting Engineers until his retirement in 1995. There will be no public services. A.J.
