Joel Pate made one of the earliest pledges to contribute toward the cost of the Gloucester Hall historical marker. His contribution of $30 was made directly to the Pate DNA Project Fund. His generosity and participation are greatly appreciated. Joel is one of the greatest Pate genealogists in the history of our family, with the late Jinks Pate-Lee being the other. His decades of research and unselfish sharing are priceless contributions to our Pate genealogy, and we all owe him great respect and gratitude for his dedication and service.
