Ben L. Pate ELKHART - Ben L. Pate, 76, died May 30, 2012. He was born Feb. 26, 1936, son of Herbert and Virgie (Lewis) Pate.   He married Barbara J. Sagebiel June 5, 1955. She survives with sons, Jeff and Steve; daughter, Pam Bloesser; brother, Wesley; sisters, Betsy Peterson, Martha Richards, June Elder, Joyce Sagebiel; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral 10 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church, Elkhart. Visitation 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Garnand Funeral Home, Elkhart. Memorials to BSA Hospice or C.A.T.S. (Children Achieving To Succeed), in care of the funeral home.
