Gideon and Mary Pate Gideon "Gid" and Mary (Edwards) Pate, Nickerson, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2:30 to 4:30 P.M. Saturday July 3 at the Methodist Church in Nickerson. The couple was married at South Hutchinson Methodist Church. The cakes for the event were made by Jane Hildebrandt who also made their original wedding cake. Their children are Teri Pate, Sacramento, Greg and Diane Pate, Anaheim and their granddaughter and husband are Charlotte and Jeffrey Hill, Hesperia. Calif.
