Marie Livingston Pate February 13, 1922-November 16, 2012 Columbus, GA- Marie Livingston Pate 90 of Columbus, Ga. died Friday November 16, 2012 at the Columbus Hospice House. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy White officiating. A private interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus. Mrs. Pate was born February 13, 1922 in Oak Grove, Ga. daughter of the late Harris and Ophelia Murphy Livingston. She was a homemaker and member of Sherwood United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years James G. (Jake) Pate, son; James G. (Jimmy) Pate, III and her granddaughter Kelli Bailey. Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte Greathouse (John) of Panama City, Fl; one sister, Rose Doby (Carl) of Stuart, Fl; two grandchildren, John Michael Greathouse (Brenda) and Allison Nickolson (Alan); three great grandchildren; Ramsey Greathouse, Jordan Nickolson and Laura Nickolson; niece, Kay Roach and many special nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
