Betty Allen Carrelli Fairview - Betty Allen Carrelli, 72, of Fairview, died Thursday, December 27, 2012. A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late Charles L. Allen and Elveta Gregory Allen. Mrs. Carrelli was a lifelong resident of Swannanoa. She enjoyed the outdoors, her dogs, and gardening. She is survived by a son, Michael Carrelli and wife Terri; grandchildren Joshua and Emily Carrelli; sister Carolyn Staton; nephew David Pate and wife Glenda; and niece Kathy McHone and husband Keith. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 31, 2012, at Sky View Memorial Park. The Rev. Frank Cantrell will officiate. The family will greet friends at the cemetery 30 minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, PO Box 8195, Asheville, NC 28814.
