Rebecca E. Zemke, 89, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012, at NKC Hospital. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Christ Lutheran Church, 6700 NW 72nd Street, Platte Woods, MO 64151. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Rebecca's name to Christ Lutheran Church. Rebecca was an avid gardener. She started running at age 55 and ran a half marathon. She was a charter member of Christ Lutheran. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ercil Harrison and husband, Bob Zemke. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Pate and her husband Wendell, grandchildren, Neal Pate and his wife Mary Beth, Wendy Gross and her husband Jason, great grandchildren, Elijah and Asher Gross.
