Hi Jinks, Looks like we are looking at two different Jeremiah Pate families. Both of my Jeremiahs are in Dale Co. in the 1850 census. The father is 51 years old and his son is 21 years old. They are with Martha (Tindell) Pate and the other children William and Thomas. Thomas Waters a grandson is also with them. Marvin
