Roane Co Tn Deeds 1808-1812, p 232 Bill of sale Mathew pate sells to Jeremiah Pate $200 slave Witness John Edmonds and Stephen Pate 9 Oct 1809 p324 Roane Co Deeds 1812-15 18 April 1814 jeremiah pate sells 26 ac to Wm Wall on Emory River wit: John Gardner and James G Williams p328 18 April 1814 same people 72 Ac on Emory River My Amanda Clay Clark, married to Col Wm Dawson (1822)of Dyer Co TN and daughter of Henderson Clark and Eliz Ann Pate Clark returned to Madison Co, Alabama (from Dyer Co Tn) to marry Col Billy Dawson.
