Joel - in re-checking the 1900 Geary Co, KS census it COULD read that George M Pate, age 28, was married 5 yrs - and does not show any children - lives alone. Looks like they either wrote the "S" , single, over "M" , married, or vice versa, but the 5 yrs is there George N Pate is in the 1910 Sheridan Co, WY census, ED 105/p 8A, HH 16/17 and is living with his parents - don't have the 1920 WY but he is possibly still there Jinks
