Rhoda McGeorge, daughter of Lawrence McGeorge (b. ca 1761-d. ca 1828) and Mary Pate (b. ca 1775). I show her married 1826 in Bedford Co., VA to Creed Meador. She died before the 1850 census of Breckinridge Co., KY. Creed was a Baptist preacher who served in the War of 1812. I also have in my database a Rhoda McGeorge daughter of WIlliam McGeorge and Ruth Wright. There is a question mark next to her name that she is the possible daughter of Lawrence McGeorge and Mary Pate (above). This "second" Rhoda married 1839 in Bedford Co., VA to Robert Penn Wright. He died 1890 in Franklin Co., VA. Does anyone know if the Rhoda that died before the 1850 census was a Meador or a Wright? Are there any descendants of these families on the mailing list? Mary in CA
