George is the son of Robert Francis Pate and Nancy Ann Theodosia Jordan Pate. George moved to the Tampa area in the late 1920's (?) where he opened a Stevedore company. George and Katherine have two very young children buried in St. Johns Cemetery in Pensacola (Escambia County). George and Katherine never moved back to the Escambia area after they settled in Tampa.
