    3. Lindy: The only "R" Pate names in the 1830 GA census were Redding Pate in Washington Co and Robert W Pate in Jefferson Co. Redding Pate died in 1836 and MAY have had holdings down through middle GA. Robert W Pate I have nothing on. The LDS index has a fistful of Green B Burney records in GA in the Oconee-Ocmulgee River area. One interesting one is in Wilkinson Co near were Samuel's son Ben F Pate Sr settled.
