Note: Martha Susan Thurman Bell Pate is the wife of Andrew Jackson Pate. Siota is the daughter of Solomon Belle and the step daughter of AJ Pate. She was one of the four children of Mr. Belle. The note says that only Siota lived to adulthood. I have another of the children as Mary A. H. Belle. As you all know Martha Susan and AJ had a family as well. Does someone have the marriage date for AJ and Martha? I'll also after painting the porch put some of the land and family intertwinings back on the list of Pates, Millers, Clarks etc. Plus go back and look at James Pate's numbers of children in 1840 and put the sticks with Jane Pates and they "seem" to indicate what happend to a large number of children living with Jane from 1840 to 1850 when she is dead.
