MAXIE PATE Sr md CATHERINE W HOLT in PULASKI Co 10 OCT 1833 HE was adopted son of Rev.William Pate and Temperance Parkerson Pate HE b 1 OCT 1807 d 1 APR 1872 She b 4 JUL 1817 d 8 JAN 1888. 2 MAXIE PATE JR md MARY PHILYAW in (COUNTY) (DATE 1876) He was son of Maxie Pate Sr and Catherine W Holt Pate He b 24 Mar 1856 d 19 Jun 1932 She b 13 Nov 1860, d 15 SEP 1933. 3 MAXIE PATE md ALMA RIDDLES in WORTH 22 MAR 1903 [Bk 4W, Pg 79] He was son of Johnathan P Pate and Georgia Anne Redd and grand s/o Maxie Pate Sr and Catherine W Holt HE b 5 JAN 1881 d 23 AUG 1956 SHE b 21 APR 1882, d 8 JUN 1949. Diana Georgia Ann Redd was probably born in Walton Co FL and was visiting family in Pulaski Co GA when she met Johnathan P Pate. Georgia Ann Redd Pate and her son James D Pate and her dau Cassie Cornelia Pate had a meat market in Tifton GA per the 1910 and 1920 census. All three of them, Georgia Ann Redd Pate, James D Pate and Cassie C Pate were enumerated in a household in the Cristobal District, Panama Canal Zone, in 1930. Joel

    3. I'm glad I could contribute something. Seems to me I do remember hearing my in-laws say something about a meat market. I did know that Uncle Jim and Aunt Cassie cared for their mother after their father died. Do you have anything more on Georgia Ann Redd? How did you know about her being born in FL?
