What did your W.B. Pate stand for? My grandfather was W. B. Pate, William Bruin Pate. He was called Uncle Billy. He lived in Arkansas. -----Original Message----- From: Bob Pate [mailto:rpate@bellsouth.net] Sent: Thursday, April 22, 2004 8:46 AM To: PATE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [PATE GENEALOGY] Re: [PATE] My Grandfather Hi Joel - Concerning your reply of Nov. 2003. There have been so many if's in finding my grandfather Robert H. Pate. If anyone could check records for Kansas City Missouri, and/or Kansas City Illinois after 1930 either marriage or death or any other type record it would really help me eliminate that area. As to his work I just don't know what he could do since my father was so young when he left. I do know that my father W.B. Pate and his brother Raymond did some railroad work as laborers when they were in their teens. Thank You for having this venue for all of us looking into our past.
