Judith: It is through asking and sharing that we all learn more about our ancestors. Sam Pait Sr is the "go to" man for our Bladen Co NC cousins who use the Pait spelling. He is the one who deserves the thanks for his years of finding and sharing. We frequently hit "brick walls" in this endeavor. If you share the problem you will find cousins you did not know about and you may find the answer to your problem.
