    3. I concur. Guess my subject line should have been "Pate-Fitzgerald-Harris TX" So Aunt Francis was aunt by marriage rather than Fitzgerald blood. Fair enough. All of this points out the value of using allied surnames to work your way around a brick wall. There is a posting by a Fitzgerald researcher on the PATE venue at GenForum that gives rise to this.
