Notice to PATE-L subscribers who use AOL. AOL is blocking your e-mail from PATE-L or PATE-D and from other sources using the RootsWeb domain. For each message AOL blocks and refuses to accept and deliver a diagnostic message is sent to the PATE-L Administrator. The diagnostic message is- <<< 554-(RLY:B1) The information presently available to AOL indicates this <<< 554-server is generating high volumes of member complaints from AOL's <<< 554-member base. Based on AOL's Unsolicited Bulk E-mail policy at <<< 554-http://www.aol.com/info/bulkemail.html AOL may not accept further <<< 554-e-mail transactions from this server or domain. For more information, <<< 554 please visit http://postmaster.info.aol.com. To compound this problem messages from PATE-L addressed to users of other ISP's (Internet Service Providers), such as @webtv.net, @netscape.com, @wmconnection.com also are being filtered and blocked. This apparently happens if the message transfers through a relay server controlled by AOL. This problem, which occurs intermittently, has been reported to RootsWeb, but I have not yet received a reply. Joel
