James PATE paid $200 to Sarah Shields land was on the waters of Range Creek about 18 miles west of Sherman; part of William C. Denton land Feb 1875 B. L. PATE paid $1000 and $600 by note to Henry D and wife, S E, Pearce land was out of the J C Marshall headright survey, approximately 9 miles south of Sherman; 80 acres 4 Aug 1876 Evaline PATE paid $100 land was on the waters of Pawpaw being a part of the headright of W R Caruthers; lots number 1 and 2 of block number 15 in Layne's addition to the City of Denison 5 June 1876 filed 3 Sep 1877 James M.
