Subscriber Tarrie Pate posted this on the Pate venue at Genforum Subject: 1930 MI census Lenawee, Adrian "The name of daughter should be Hazel, not Hagee. The names listed as Ida and Ray Woodley should be Ida and Roy Woodby. Does anyone have any info on the Pate families in FL ? Such as Lloyd and Grace and their son "Babe" or their daughter Stella ? I think Stella may be getting treatment for Alzheimer's disease." The verified extract I have for the Perry Pate household in Lenawee Co MI 1930 census - Lenawee Co MI 1930 ED 46-11/10A, ADRIAN, site 229/236, [1033 Treat Road] Perry Pate--------54 W/M Head Md @22 Labor State Hiway --TN/NC/NC 1876 Elizabeth Pate--52 W/F Wife Md @16 Servant Priv Fam -----TN/TN/NC 1878 Elmer Pate-------16 W/M Son Sgl Packer Paper Mill -------------MI/TN/TN 1914 Hazel Pate-------13 W/F Dau Sgl -------------------------------------------MI/TN/TN 1917 Mable Pate-------11 W/F Dau Sgl ------------------------------------------MI/TN/TN 1919 Grace Pate-------- 9 W/F Dau Sgl ------------------------------------------MI/TN/TN 1921 Ida Woodby------19 W/F Dau Md @18------------------------------------MI/TN/TN 1911 Ray Woodby-----20 W/M Snl Md @20 Truck Driver----------------MI/TN/TN 1910 Hazel appears as a 3 year old in the 1920 census. The "Ray" Woodby could be "Roy" Woodby, but the best reading I see is Ray. Tarrie, regarding Lloyd and Grace Pate and children "Babe" and Stella, there are a couple of possibilities, but without added information I would not want to hazard a guess. Do you have any idea as to the approximate ages of these folks and where in Florida they might live? Also could Stella Pate be named Estella or perhaps Crystelle? Did she marry? Joel
