WILLIAMS Shirley Ann Tyner Williams was born on March 21,1935 to the late Thomas and Adriane Tyner. Shirley received her education from the Duval County Public Schools and Edward Waters College. She went to sleep in the arms of Jesus on December 31, 2012. She leaves to cherish her memory; Husband; Ernest Williams, Pastor of Greater St. Matthew Baptist Church; Children; Marion (Gayle) Williams, Ronald (Nancy) Williams, Cheryl (Charles) Owens, Mavis (James) Bush, Robbin (Keith) Bowens, Gloria(Tony) Walton, Carol Joanne Smith, Karen Dianne Pate, Darryl Ted (Mia Kira) Williams, Ernest (Lavon) Williams; Sisters; Marva (Curtis) Sampson, Euna Tee (James) Henderson, Eura Lee Tookes; Sister-In-Law, Lovie Ford; a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Godchildren, relatives and friends. The viewing and visitation will be Friday, January 4th from 5-8 p.m. in Greater St. Matthew Baptist Church, 649 Franklin St. with a Victory Service beginning at 6pm. The Celebration of her Life is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5th in St. Paul A.M.E. Church, 6910 New Kings Rd., Pastor Marvin Zanders officiating. The services are under the direction of Tony Walton and the staff of Hillman-Pratt & Walton Funeral Home, 525 W. Beaver St., 354-1651.
