Minnie Leona Pate ARCADIA, LA- Funeral services will be held for Minnie Leona Pate, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia, on Saturday September 29, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. Rev. John McClelland will officiate the service. Interment will follow at the Atkins Cemetery in Athens Louisiana. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 5:00-8:00 p.m. She was born May 13, 1917 to David Lonzio Anglin and Bertha Gertrude Lear Anglin. She entered into rest September 26, 2007. Mrs. Pate was preceded in death by her husband Charles Spurgeon Pate, son Charles Sidney Pate, two brothers and a sister. She is survived by son Andy Pate and wife Deloris of Athens, La., Daughters Mattie Lee Carroll of Athens, La., Nancy Casey and husband Butch of Hurricane, La., Patsy Lee and husband Bill of Taylor, Ar., Bernice Lewis and husband Billie of Athens, La., Sisters Mary E. Godwin of Arkansas, Christell Wood of Shreveport, La. and Gilda Sanford of Bossier, La., 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
