George "Toosie" Pate Pate, George "Toosie" St. Andrew Baptist Church, St. Francisville, at 11 a.m. Published in The Advocate on October 1, 2005   George "Toosie" Pate Pate, George "Toosie" A farmer and mechanic, he died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 51, a resident of Wakefield and a native of Laurel Hill. Visiting at St. Francisville Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 30, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Religious service at St. Andrew Baptist Church, St. Francisville, on Saturday, Oct. 1, at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. George Noflin. He is survived by his wife, Judy Rogers Pate; four sons, George Rogers Jr., Michael Rogers, Joshua Rogers and Caleb Rogers; three sisters, Viola Henry, Nellie Stephens and Rosa Lee Stephens; four brothers, Woodrow Stevens, Willie Stevens, James Jackson and Larry Pate; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Corrine Stephens; father, Junious Pate; and brothers, Tobe Jackson and Henry Jackson. Pallbearers will be Floyd Henry, Dewayne Henry, Larry Pate Jr., Michael Stevenson, Donald Ray Stephens and Gregory Pate. Honorary pallbearers are Woodrow Stevenson Jr., Robert Henry, Joseph Henry, Toby Stevenson, Spencer Henry, Chester Henry and Christopher Henry.
