Leonard Jerome Pate Mr. Leonard Jerome Pate of Ashford passed away Friday, December 21, 2012, at his residence. He was 51. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Sunday, December 23, 2012, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Greg Aman officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 11 to 1 P.M. Sunday, December 23, 2012. Flowers will be accepted. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He always had a loving smile and a big heart for everyone. He was loved by everyone and loved hunting, fishing, and nature. He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Pate, brother, Charles Ray Pate, and a sister, Linda Sue Pate Johnson. Survivors include his mother, Inez Pate of Ashford; sisters, Eleanor Faye Knight and her husband, Jerry of Ashford; Denise Tate and her husband, Greg of Ashford; brothers, Glenn Pate and his wife, Barbara of Ashford; Terry Pate of Ashford; John Pate of Ashford; nieces and nephews, Susan Thompson (Mike), Dwayne Knight (Teri), Kristy Boney (Mike), Stephanie Pate, Jennifer Cornett (Aaron), Amanda Linn (John), Connor Pate, Dustin Tate, and several great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dupree, Bud Wright, Billy Harrison, Donnie Cosby, Van Etheridge, and Chris Bowen.
