Jim Abbott officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Fairview First Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Pate died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004, at his residence. He was born July 8, 1946, in Morgan County. He was a warrant officer in the United States Army. Survivors include his wife, Sandy J. Pate; two sons, William “Billy” Pate of Arab and Dale Pate of Birmingham; one daughter, Lisa Diane Barrett of Arab; his mother, Iris England of Falkville; one sister, Nell Duquette of Falkville; one half sister, Claudia Brown of Battle Creek, Mich.; and four grandchildren.   Published in the Decatur Daily on January 15, 2004
