Although my Great Grandfather was not a "PATE", and I'm not sure that this method will work in other English Cities and / or Counties but it might be worthwhile to try. Recently I located my Great Grandfather's burial location in Scarborough, England. First, I used Google Maps to locate the nearest Episcopal Church to his last known residential address. An email sent to the Church resulted in an educated guess as to his burial location and a referral to a City Government Agency. Second, my email to the Scarborough Borough Council was answered promptly with the burial location, grave number, and a map of the cemetery. They also searched their burial records and did not locate an entry for my Great Grandmother in the same cemetery.
