Ella Belle Anderson "Molly" Pate Hartzell United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Published in The Advocate on February 4, 2012 Ella Belle Anderson "Molly" Pate A homemaker and a resident of Rosedale, she died at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at her home. She was 100. Visiting will be at Hartzell United Methodist Church on Friday, Feb. 3, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 4, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Ulysse Stephens. Interment in the church cemetery. She is survived by three daughters, Pearl R. Snelgro, of Houston, Ella P. Joseph and husband Wilbert, of Baton Rouge, and Barbara J. Martin, of Rosedale; five sons, Joseph C. Pate and fianceŽ Barbara Franklin, both of Baton Rouge, James S. Pate and wife Carmen, of Kissimmee, Fla., Lawrence H. Pate Sr. and wife Lillie, of Grosse Tete, Herbert A. Pate and wife Mary J., of Baton Rouge, and Willie D. Pate and wife Gerry, of Houston; a sister-in-law, Helen Anderson, of Rosedale; a son-in-law, George Stakley Jr., of Crestview, Fla.; a goddaughter, Emma McClain; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, James Pate; father, Charlie Anderson; mother, Isabelle Anderson; and daughters, Mary H. Pate, Sherill K. Pate and Donna K. Stakley. Pallbearers will be Kirkland B. Joseph, Patrick Martin, Alford P. Pate, DeMario Pate, Hosea Pate, Lawrence H. Pate Jr., Kenneth Snelgro, Dion R. Stakley and George Stakley III. Honorary pallbearers are Albert Anderson, Larry R. Anderson Sr., Peter Anderson, Sterling Colomb Jr., Kristopher Johnson, Wilbert Joseph, Charles Martin Jr., Anthony Pate, Derrick Pate, Herbert A. Pate, Olando Pate, James S. Pate, Joseph C. Pate, Lawrence H. Pate Sr., Willie D. Pate, Shelton Ratcliff, Patrick Smith, George Stakley Jr. and Roderick K. Stakley.
