BUTLER J.B. "Jimmy", 63, husband of Rosemary Butler, passed away January 6, 2012 in Goldsboro, NC. Born June 6, 1949 in Lexington, KY, he was a son of the late Fannie Butler Watkins and James Butler. J.B. was a loving husband, father and grandfather, was a dedicated son to his mother, and was a retired process engineer for Standard Products. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie and Janie. Other than his wife, he leaves behind to cherish his memory nine children, James Allen Butler, Connie Hunter, Kelly Alonzo, Jessica Pate, Michelle Martinez, Andrew Patterson and Brad, Brittany and Tyler Butler; grandchildren, Selena, Nikki, Gabby, Alexis, Sara and Sabrina; four brothers, Ebbie (Jenny) Butler, Ray (Bettie) Butler, Joe (Barb) Butler and Denny Butler; and five sisters, Joyce Moore, Carol Clem, Judy Patrick, Faye Wells and Barbara (Ronnie) Martin. Funeral service will be 10am Friday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 463 E. Main St., Lexington KY by Pastor David Hopper with burial to follow in Athens Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9pm Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Love Memorial Baptist Church, 192 Woodland Church Rd., Goldsboro, NC 27530 in his memory.
