Funeral for Eunice Garrett Pate, 90, of Cullman was to be today at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Chapel in Decatur with the Rev. Dale Moore officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery. Mrs. Pate died Sunday, June 1, 2003. She was born June 30, 1912, in Cullman to Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Garrett. She was a homemaker and spent most of her life in Decatur. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.L. “Jack” Pate, and one granddaughter. Survivors include one son, Bill (Dorothy) Pate of Tallahassee, Fla.; two daughters, Linda Moore of Hanceville and June Pate of Jones Chapel; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Dale, Daniel, Douglas and David Moore, and Lance and Adam Pate. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Tammy and Allison Sharpton.
