She was 68. Visitation at Magnolia Baptist Church, Holden, on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, Dec. 8, from 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Paul Nugent and the Rev. Carl Sullivan. She is survived by her husband, James "Brother" Pate; daughter, Vickie Pate; sons, Charles and wife Sheila and James "Jimmy" and wife Frankie; sister, Carolyn Jones; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Evelyn Sullivan and Gerald and Elaine Sullivan, all of Holden, and the Rev. Carl and Naomi Sullivan, Denham Springs; eight grandchildren, Yancy, Jennifer, Sarah, Eric, Holly, Angela, Stephen and Sammy; and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert "RT" and Frances Sullivan; sisters, Betty Lou Sullivan, Bobbye Jean Wallace and Delores Gill; and an infant brother.
