Jo Ann Mixon Pate of 29 Williamsburg Place died Friday, Dec. 2, 2005. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. Monday prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2345 W. Main St., Suite 3, Dothan, AL 36303. Survivors include her son, Jack Pate of Dothan; her grandson, Taylor Pate of Morganfield, Ky.; her mother, Dorothy Mixon of Dothan; two brothers, Jack Mixon and Danny Mixon, both of Dothan.
