Samuel Meshach Woolsey married Eliza Catherine Cloud. Eliza's daughter was Rosa Woosley Howze. I am descended from Eliza's brother George Augustus Cloud on my mother's side. My mother (Nancie Alice Cloud) and my father (William Monroe Pate) were second cousins. I am from the Peterson Pate Family on my father's and mother's side. I love to call my sister cousin.
