Charles L Pate 7 Mar 1821-2 Apr 1880 (58y 10m 26d) Sarah A Pate 13 Oct 1813-20 Dec 1875 (62y 2m 7d) This could be interpreted as Charles Lewis Pate and would have him alive after 1867 and therefore divorced from Rebecca P Morehouse, however, this is PROBABLY Charles Lynch Pate and his second wife Sarah A Stiers. They married 11 Aug 1847 in Dearborn Co IN. Keeping the men named Charles L Pate in Dearborn Co IN and Vermilion Co IL straight is difficult. Joel
