Joel - I have the following differences in what you posted - can you (or anyone) verify which is correct?? Martha (Howerton) Pat b. 22 Mar --1826-- rather than 1820 - The 1820 is from a typed cemetery record (which could be a typo) and 1826 is from another source (which I do not have). Adaline and Sarah E Pate COULD BE one and the same -- in 1850 listed as Adeline, age 4; 1860 as S E, female, age 13; 1870 Sarah E, age 24. The marriage record shows Sarah A Pate, age 24, md Henry James 23 Oct 1870 in White Co, AR Anna Jane Pate d. --15-- Aug 1899 rather than 5 Aug - this is also from typed cemetery records. Alice Pate -- Allis A Pate Fleming Pate also has a dau, Allis Araminta Pate so am wondering if this is an old family name. Washington Pate b. 5 Mar 1858 William Bruen Pate md (3) Minnie M DOREMUS As to Fleming Pate family - I only show one marriage for him to Elizabeth Jane Hammons - do you have info on a first marriage?? I have children as: Stephen F Pate, b. ca 1837 md Lucy A M -- A female child b. ca 1838 James D Pate, b. 1839 Andrew P Pate, b. 1847 Allis Araminta Pate, b. 5 Jan 1854 Mary Pate, b. ca 1855 Children are from census records 1840, 1850, 1860 and 1870 Independence Co, AR.
