The 27 Oct 1835 marriage date seems to be valid and reliable . The odd spelling of Alice as ALLIS or ALLUS shows up in this line. I find no evidence that Fleming Pate had a son named Daniel b ca 1855. Our grave and marriage data for Independence and surrounding counties in AR needs some work and enhancement. Joel
