Hello . I have found a George Pate b. 30/1/1773 Lanarkshire married at Hamilton Elizabeth ( Bethea ) in Dec 1794 who was born 29/5/1776 . Children James Muir Pate ( Peat ) 1803 and George b. 1815 Lanarkshire . George died 16/3/1841 Hamilton Lanarkshire . I think this is my George who married Bessie or Jessie McAra and had 2 sons born My John and George who migrated to Australia 1859 . Does any of this ring a bell .
