And, you must have been able to verify that there was a transcription error in the copy of Booker Pate's will posted here <http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/pate/1999-01/0916697824> on Pate-L on 18 Jan 1999--that Booker's son was (Wade) Hampton and not "Hamilton" Pate? If so, that will certainly save me from going down yet another rabbit trail!
