The LDS folks have a new beta genealogy site online, it's free. I've added this site to my search list. The format is different from their pilot website, but after you get used to the changes, it works. The site is: http://beta.familysearch.org In review, the pilot website is their older genealogy site. For those not familiar, it's address is: http://pilot.familysearch.org I also subscribe to Ancestry and have found information on the beta and pilot sites that was not on Ancestry. I normally search Ancestry first, then try pilot, and last the beta website.
I had searched the regular older LDS FamilySearch website many times for a particular death certificate. A few months ago, I was introduced to the pilot.familysearch.org website and there I found this very important death certificate I had been searching for - for longer than I can remember. I searched their older website again for the death certificate. It was only found on the pilot website. So - we need to check all available websites, even if they are produced by the same organization. Will try the new Beta, also. Thanks for the info.
