I have never taken the time to count my photo copies of people, places, tombstones, documents (with a good digital camera you can copy just about anything). A good scanner, if not in memory, can accomplish a specific request for those in my family line. Plus a specific request is handled more personally and less commercially. There are a LOT of microfilms and captures of old documents that some of us have which can be shared on there - which cannot be shared on this list - yet might be of HELP to some on this list! Nobody is trying to replace this list - NO WAY!! We are just trying to FIND A PLACE to share pictures since this list doesn't allow HTML or any attachments! Pick your own place to share - I just SUGGESTED DropShopts to John - there are many other places like that. Picasa is free and run by Google - use that if you don;t like DropShots. Just Google for FREE PHOTO SHARING and there are all kinds of places to be sharing from - each person can pick their own place to share what they want and post the link to the list!
