    3. July 28, 2010 Lonnie Lavern Pate THOMASVILLE - Services for Lonnie Lavern Pate of Thomasville are at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Ochlocknee Church of God. Bobby Strahan will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Micheal Hennecy, Bobby Pate, Corbett Lawler, Brandon Singletary, Charles Singletary and Jason Joiner. Mr. Pate died July 27 at Archbold Medical Center. Born Oct. 13, 1945, he was a son of the late Bennett H. Pate and Enza Black. On May 7, 1981 in Birmingham, Ala., he was married to Martha Louise Pate of Thomasville. He was a self-employed produce farmer and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include wife, Martha Louise Pate of Thomasville; daughter, Rhonda Freeman (Phillip) of Joppa, Ala.; son, Greg Pate (Ruby) of Birmingham, Ala.; daughters, Debbie Wood of Cairo, Brenda Joiner (Stephen Varadoe) of Statenville, Mary Lawler (Steve) of Thomasville; 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Faye Wingo of Dora, Ala., Peggy Carden of North Port, Ala., Bonnie Schrimpcher of Wedowee, Ala., Nancy Tedder of Pensacola, Fla.,; brothers, Hosmer Pate of Jasper, Ala. and Neal Pate of Locust Fork, Ala. He was preceded in death by daughter, Tammy Pate; his grandchildren Jamie Abner, Bobby Young, and Brandon Berry; brother, Hubert Pate; and his sister, Ora Lee Nichols.
