    1. Re: [PATE] Free Research Sites
    2. I do not know how long pilot.familysearch.org has been on line but a few days ago I lucked onto that website and found a death certificate for the illusive Wm. D. Pate, of Weleetka, OK. We have been looking for when and where he died for almost 15 years. The death certificate does not show up on the regular familysearch.org website. I do not know what the difference is between the two but I highly recommend the pilot website if you don't find what you need on the other two websites listed below. I am forwarding this to our friend. I had forgotten about some of these sites. Maybe this will help new Pate researchers too. They also have family history data submitted by individuals, not proven data, all this info needs to be proven) For paid site, I subscribe to Ancestry. Often you can access paid websites, free, at your local library or LDS Family History Center. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
