Jim, You can request the person who entered your ancestors information to transfer the record maintaince to you. They may agree to do just that. Then you can make the family connections. If you don't ask, you will not receive and the worst thing that could happen is they say no. That has never killed me, maybe disappointed. I have had good luck in getting some of my ancestors records transferred. Some people just like to enter the information from cemetery records, some actually go to the cemetery and do a survey.
