Glad to hear from you, Joel ! This Jim is retired, his wife works in Atlanta and they spend time back & forth from Amboy( from what I was told, but this person wasn't really too acquainted with him). From someone's suggestion of his place of residence I had to travel off the highway about 2 miles back in the woods & fields, on a one- horse dirt field road and came to a locked gate ( road continued but as far as I could see, no sign of homeplace). There was a mailbox with name Lasseter one it. So I wrote him a note and placed it in . Hopefully, as soon as he gets home he will get in touch with me.( I saw no electric lines). My source of information said they had seen him at Ashburn Library. So I went there to see if librarian knew him, or if he had placed info in family files there - no to both. But, It felt good to be out 'searching' again.
