ALLENE HEAD Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Allene Head, 90, of Lubbock (Texas) from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednsesday, June 30, 2010 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010 in Resthaven Memorial Park. Allene died Monday, June 28, 2010. She was born October 26, 1919 in Lubbock County to the late Stephen and Marybell (Truss) Pate. Allene married Orville Head on March 28, 1936 in Clovis, New Mexico. She lived in Lubbock area all her life and was a homemaker, helping her husband run the farm. The blessings of her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by two grandsons, Gregory and Jamethy Greene: a granddaughter-in-law, Melissa Garney: three great-grandchildren, Trevor and Tiffany Greene and CourtneyGonzales; sister-in-law, Marjorie Pate, and son-in-law, Shirley Greene. Along with her parents and her husand, Allene was preceded by her daughter, Patricia Greene, five brothers and three sisters.
