    3. "The marker is close to the home of Rob Atkinson, so it would be best to park there." Is the guidance provided to those who noted an interest in attending early on. I believe AJ is in travel now so he may not be able to respond. Put in GPS 9775 Bacons Port Drive, Yorktown, Va. This will get you close enough to see the ones of us that are gathering for the unveiling. Due to the nature of a historic marker placement there really is not an address to be provided. Hope this helps. One version holds that he was struck by lightning and the other version holds that he was impaled by a piece of lumber flying in the tornado winds. Both versions are plausible. He supposedly died in McLennan Co., TX near Waco. I have been unable to locate his grave in the records of McLennan or Hill County, Texas. He grave perhaps is not marked. 3. To Pat Curry. Dates would help in determining the answer to your question. I'm sure that there are a number of William A. Pates. I have a Anthony William Pate 1885-1940 in my line. Some records show him as William Anthony Pate. His grandfather was William Anthony Pate 1812-1894. The elder Pate lived in what is now Webster Parish, Louisiana and is buried in Bistineau Cemetary near Heflin, Louisiana. He had a cousin of the same name who was born the same year that lived in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. The younger Pate lived in Bienville Parish, Louisiana and is buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Ringgold, Louisiana. Today's Topics:   1. William A.
